International Conference on High Energy Particle and Nuclear Physics in the LHC Era (HEPNP2025)

The 9th International Conference on High Energy Particle and Nuclear Physics in the LHC Era (HEPNP2025) was held in Valparaiso (Chile) from the 6th to the 10th of January 2025. The scientific program of the Conference will address a broad range of topics covering the main areas of high-energy particle and nuclear physics such as Higgs and EW Physics, Neutrino Physics, QCD, Beyond the SM Physics, Dark Matter particle searches, Astroparticles, Nuclear Physics, Heavy Ion collisions, Gravitational Waves measurements, Particle Detectors, and Instrumentation, Future experimental facilities, and computing.
My original contribution was an oral talk, named "Boosting HEP computing: the "Fundamental Research & Space Economy" Italian strategy within the National Center for HPC, Big Data, and Quantum Computing". Presentation link.


Annual Meeting of the ICSC National Center 2024

Despite not being an official conference, the Annual Meeting of the ICSC National Center is a significant event in the Italian scientific community, focusing on the latest advancements in the "National Center for HPC, Big Data and Quantum Computing". It took place from the 17th to the 20th of September 2024 in Rome (Italy).
My original contribution was an oral talk, presenting the results of the Spoke 2 project activity "Fundamental Research and Space Economy".


International Conference on High Energy Physics (ICHEP2024)

The 42nd International Conference on High Energy Physics (ICHEP 2024) took place from 17th to 24th of July 2024 at Prague (Czechia). Considered the most important conference of the sector, physicists from around the world gather to share the latest advancements in particle physics, astrophysics/cosmology, and accelerator science and discuss plans for major future facilities.
My original contribution was an oral contribution, named "Enhancing CMS data analyses using a distributed high throughput platform" and submitted to the conference proceedings.


International Workshop on Advanced Computing and Analysis Techniques in Physics Research (ACAT2024)

The 22nd International Workshop on Advanced Computing and Analysis Techniques in Physics Research (ACAT 2024) took place from 11th to 15th of March 2024 at Stony Brook (USA). Through this unique forum, particle-, nuclear-, astro-, and accelerator-physics overlap with High Performance Computing, fostering the exchange of ideas related to cutting-edge computing, data-analysis, and theoretical-calculation technologies.
My original contribution was a poster, named "Quasi interactive analysis of High Energy Physics big data with high throughput" and submitted to the conference proceedings.


Conference on Computing in High Energy & Nuclear Physics (CHEP2023)

The CHEP conference address the computing, networking and software issues for the world’s leading data-intensive science experiments that currently analyze hundreds of petabytes of data using worldwide computing resources. This edition of the conference will place special emphasis on high-performance data organization, management, and access (DOMA), a topic of interest and relevance throughout the scientific community.
My original contribution was a poster, named "A RESTful approach to tape management in StoRM" and submitted to the conference proceedings.


Workshop sul Calcolo nell'INFN 2023 (Commissione Calcolo e Reti)

The 2023 CCR conference was held in Loano (Italy) from 22nd to 26th of May 2023. The main theme of this workshop was the future of scientific computing within the INFN community, addressing challenges in high-energy physics, astroparticle physics, gravitational waves, and neutrino research. It focused on the deployment of large-scale, distributed computing infrastructures, integration of Grid and Cloud technologies, and advancements in AI, Machine Learning, and Quantum Computing.
My original contribution was an oral talk, named "Esperienza di un'analisi dati CMS nell'INFN "Analysis Facility" framework". Presentation link.


International Symposium on Grids & Clouds 2021

The 2021 ISGC conference was held online, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, (from the 22nd of March to the 26th of March 2021). The main theme of the conference was "Challenges in High Performance Data Analytics: Combining Approaches in HPC, HTC, Big Data and AI".
My original contribution was an oral talk, named "Deep Learning fast inference on FPGA for CMS Muon Level-1 Trigger studies" and submitted to the conference proceedings.


International Symposium on Grids & Clouds 2019

The ISGC conference was held in the Academia Sinica, Taipei (Taiwan) and in 2019 was no exception (from the 31st of March to the 5th of April 2019). The main theme of the conference was "Efficient and safe processing of FAIR Open Data".
My original contribution was an oral talk, named "Collection and harmonization of system logs and prototypal Analytics services with the Elastic (ELK) suite at the INFN-CNAF computing center" and later published in the conference proceedings.


6th Annual Conference on Large Hadron Collider Physics (LHCP 2018)

The LHCP conference of 2018 was held in Bologna, hosted at the San Domenico's Center, from the 4th to the 9th of June. It is entirely focused on the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) physics with the news and discoveries from the corresponding experiments (mainly CMS, ATLAS, LHCb and ALICE).
My original contribution was a poster, named "Development of Machine Learning based muon trigger algorithms for the Phase2 upgrade of the CMS detector" and later published in the conference proceedings.
